What can I do to get straighter teeth?
Over recent years, orthodontic treatment has become increasingly more accessible to the general public. Furthermore, with the aid of developments in technology, patients are able to have an orthodontic experience that takes less time, is less invasive and much more effective than the past. Patients can choose from a variety of orthodontic treatments that suit their personal needs and wants, including: metal (traditional) braces, ceramic braces, Invisalign or a combination of those listed.

Metal braces (Traditional) braces
When people think of “braces”, it is these metal braces that most people imagine in their heads. Today, however, metal braces are smaller and less noticeable than the “metal-mouth” braces that many adults may remember.
These are the metal brackets and wires that most people picture when they hear the word "braces." However, modern brackets are smaller and less noticeable than the notorious "metal-mouth" braces that many adults remember.
Ceramic Braces
Ceramic braces are similar to metal braces, except that they have tooth-coloured or clear brackets that blend in with teeth. There is even the option to use tooth-coloured wires for the braces to be even less noticeable.
Invisalign
Invisalign involves a series of custom-made, removeable plastic aligners created for each individual patient. As a clear alternative to braces, the aligners are made of a virtually invisible plastic that patients wear over their teeth to gradually shift them to the ideal position. This allows patients to maintain their lifestyle during treatment. The aligners are replaced every 2 weeks.
Combination
We also offer different combinations of the above treatments. For example, we can apply clear braces on your upper front teeth where aesthetics is of greater concern, and metal brackets for your back and lower teeth, which aren’t as visible when you smile.
